i slept in today! that doesn't happen very often. actually proud of myself! =) took the dogs for a nice walk, hung out with my baby, painted, ran errands... the usual. and then i checked the mail. i've been waiting to find out if i was accepted into the public artscape for boulder city again this year. well, i my slides came back and i didn't get in. =( oh well. maybe i can get in to another show. at least i tried. i did get a present in the mail though which totally made my day and forget about sculpture. my girlfriend elayna sent me two beautiful scarves that she handpainted. i had told her a couple weeks ago that i was going to buy the orange one. so she sent it to me AND another one that is green and yellow. they are absolutely gorgeous! i'm going to have them framed so i can hang them in our new house! oh yeah, i didn't tell you? we're moving! we found the perfect home for our family. so if all works out, we should be out of here with in a month or two.
